What this covers
These terms apply to liuacai.com, run by LiU Coffee bar & Açaí, inside Indoor Padel Club, Costa del Este, Panama City. Using the site means you accept them.
Using the site
The site is for browsing the menu, building an order, quoting an event and getting in touch. Please don’t try to break it, don’t use it for automated traffic and don’t use it for anything unlawful.
The content — text, photos, logo, design — is ours. Share links freely; to reproduce the content, write to us.
Prices
Prices come from our spreadsheet and update when we edit it.
They can change without notice, and the price that applies is the one at the shop when you pick up. We do our best to keep them in sync, but if there’s a difference — a loading error, or a change while you were ordering — we’ll tell you before charging.
Prices are in balboas (B/.). No tax is currently added on top of the price shown.
A WhatsApp order is not a closed sale
This matters: sending an order through WhatsApp is a request, not a completed purchase.
The order is confirmed only when we reply saying yes. Something may have run out that day, we may not make your requested time, or we may not be able to take it. If that happens we’ll tell you and nothing is charged.
Payment happens at pickup, at the shop or through Yappy. The site does not take or process payments.
Links like liuacai.com/p/{code} exist to show a long order that didn’t fit in a
WhatsApp message. They last 48 hours and then stop working. They are not a
receipt.
The bowl builder
What the bowl builder produces is an order like any other, under the same terms. The bowl drawing illustrates what you chose; it is not a photo of what you’ll receive.
Events
Every quote is an estimate subject to availability. The figure the quoter shows comes from the data you entered and does not hold the date.
- The booking is made when we confirm in writing and the 50% deposit is paid.
- The balance is due on the day of the event.
- We ask for at least 7 days notice. With less, ask anyway — sometimes it works.
- Final headcount and format are confirmed 48 hours ahead. If the number drops after that point, the confirmed number is charged.
- Cancel more than 7 days out and the deposit is refunded in full. With less, we’ll work it out based on what’s already been bought.
- If we can’t deliver for a reason of ours, everything paid is refunded.
Some formats have a minimum number of people. Where there is one, the minimum is what gets charged, even if fewer attend.
Allergens and ingredients
We list the allergens we know about on each product. We work in a small bar where nuts, peanuts, gluten and dairy are handled: we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contact.
If you have a serious allergy, tell us before ordering.
Any nutritional information we give is indicative. We make no health claims: our products are food, not treatments.
Availability
We do our best to keep the site up and the menu current, but we don’t promise it will always be available or free of errors. A product shown as available may have run out that same day.
